Do you wish for more consistency?

My walk on the beach this morning got me to reflecting …

How many grains of sand are on the beach?

How many of each variety of shell are washed up with each incoming tide?

The waves never stop coming. Minute after minute. Hour after hour. Day after day. Week after week. Month after month. Year after year.

Yes, the waves vary in size but never in consistency.

Yes, the tides vary in height but never in consistency.

Why do we? Why are we not consistent?

There are lots of reasons why we’re not. At the root of them all is that we are human. We are too easily swayed by too many distractions.

And you know what? When you own a business the distractions and swaying can be disastrous to our success and growth. Which is why every business owner needs someone to lovingly support them and gently hold them accountable to ensure they remain consistent despite life happening around them.
