How much do you value yourself?

How much do you really value yourself?

Come on now, I’m asking you to really think about this question.

You see, the truth is that many of the women I speak to each day don’t value themselves.

They live their lives for everyone else.

They constantly put everyone else first.

They don’t take time for themselves. To choose what they want to do. To have time to just be. To do whatever they want at that moment.

Yeah, sure life is busy. I know, you own a business. You have clients to care for and serve. You have staff to look after. You have kids. You have a partner. You have family. You may have parents who need support. You may have grandchildren. You may have all of the above.

What I see happening is that we as women put everyone else first. How do I know this so well? Because, I’ve done it myself for most of my life.

We’re so busy running round after them all that there’s no time for us.

We’re go, go, go all day, every day, week after week.

As the festive holiday season zooms quickly towards us our lives just get increasingly busier. And the running round after everyone else that we do just gets even more chaotic and hectic.

My question for you is – have you planned some time for you over the next few weeks? To do something fun or relaxing that you enjoy? Doesn’t have to be a big chunk of time, it’s the act of taking it that’s really important to us.

Taking time out for you can seem unimportant, but when you do it you’ll be really pleased you did.

The act of taking time out for you shows that you value yourself.

Taking time out from your business to learn and implement new ideas is vital for us as business owners. Remember, working on your business rather than working in your business. It’s totally vital for our business success.
