I’ve lived most of my life trying to fit in and belong somewhere … anywhere would do

And never succeeding

Doing whatever it took to try to fit in. To not feel like a freak. A misfit. An outsider. All I wanted was to be accepted.

Always trying to please others and keep them happy. At whatever cost to me was necessary. Didn’t matter how much, I kept trying.

And never succeeding.

Finally, I listened to my inner voice. You know that small voice that whispers to you from your deepest inner core? Yes, you have one too. We all do.

It had been whispering to me for as long as I can remember. But I’d always ignored it. Chosen not to listen.

I thought conforming with society was the only acceptable way to live. Hoping that someday I’d fit in. And keep others happy at the same time.

What if I’d listened earlier? What if? I’ve wondered that a lot.

Truth is, wondering hasn’t gotten me anywhere.

My life only started to change once I stopped trying to fit in and listened to my inner voice. Whispering to me.

What I discovered when I did listen was that the more I listened, the more I heard, the more I became me and the less fitting in mattered.

What I know now is that having support would have made it all a whole heap easier for me, cos honestly it took me way longer than it needed to.

Which is why now I show women how to move from a lifetime of trying to fit in and belong somewhere, anywhere, to creating a life and business that’s tailor made to fit your uniqueness.
