Passion for Growth
What do those words really mean?Here’s what the dictionary tells us.
Passion is a powerful or compelling emotion or feeling.
Growth is all about increase.
Passion for growth has been on my list of values for as long as I can remember. To me it epitomises an important aspect of my personality and my belief structure.
Why’s it so important to me?
I’ve never been someone who can sit still and not be learning something, anything.
I’m a life-long learner.
Learner is one of my top five strengths!
I’m a firm believer that the day you stop learning is the day you die. It’s an attitude thing.
Here’s the thing, the world is changing every moment of every day. If we’re not learning and adapting then how will we cope with change?
Change is an integral part of life. It’s one of those certainties of life.
Inner growth or outer, either is great to me. Both are essential for balanced growth.
Growing who I am on the inside.
Growing how I show up, what I’m able to do, growing little by little each and every day into a better
version of me.
That’s how we get to contribute more to the world. To help others more. To have a bigger impact. To make a bigger difference.
That’s how we get to be who we were truly born to be.
That’s why I’m so passionate about growth.
It’s also why my company is named Passion for Growth Ltd.
Yep, I’m kinda wearing my passion on my sleeve you might say.
Truth is that’s part of what keeps me centred and focused on my mission and vision. It’s a huge part of why I do what I do.
