You don't have to do it all alone ...
UNLESS YOU CHOOSE TOYou don’t have to do it all alone.
Unless you choose to.
I remember thinking I had to.
Do it all alone.
I’d learned the skills.
I’d gotten my certification.
I’d set up my business using the information provided as part of learning my skills.
I’d been told that was all I needed. Yeah, right!!! No that wasn’t right. In fact it was so far from right as I was yet to discover.
It’d also been drummed into me in my training that all I had to do was to FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT!
Did that work?
Not at all! And I’m here to tell you why.
You see, as I was told, when you’re faking it till you make it you can’t let anyone know you’re not making it yet.
Otherwise they’ll stop believing you.
And you’ll lose all your credibility.
And then you sure won’t make it.
It was all about KEEPING YOUR CHIN UP and FAKING IT UNTIL YOU DO MAKE IT!
Intrinsic in that was the understanding that if you didn’t make it then you obviously had done something wrong.
At least, that was what I heard. It was all I knew at that time.
The upshot was that made it impossible for me to reach out for help when I needed it. I felt like a huge
failure when I did.
What I want you to know is that you don’t have to do it all alone.
You don’t have to fake it till you make it.
Truth is it’s so much simpler to ACT AS IF.
Furthermore, when you act as if, you’re taking action from the place you want to be AND you’re free to ask for help whenever and wherever you choose.
Everything you desire becomes possible when you act as if.
