What that means is you choose how you feel about everything.
Let’s say your home is messy and you wish everyone would tidy up their own mess; they, however, don’t even see it as mess. You can choose to whinge and whine about the mess; or you could choose to be grateful and happy for the people who share your home.
Suppose you’re not looking forward to cleaning up the kitchen at the end of the day and prepping food for the next day. You could choose to complain that no one else ever does it; or you could choose to be happy and grateful that you have food, a home to live in and people you care about.
You don’t want to do the laundry … choose to be grateful you have clothes to wear and the means to clean them.
Your work is so busy you feel overwhelmed … choose to feel happy that you have clients and work to do that means you receive money to pay your bills.
My encouragement is for you to choose joy, choose to be happy, and choose to be grateful in every moment.
