During all my years of being in business. Through all my learning and studying. While working with numerous business coaches.

I’d only ever been shown one way. I’d only ever been taught one way. I’d always been told to do it that way.

And I’d wrongly assumed they were all right.
That one size did fit all.

That I needed to tick all their boxes for my business to be successful.
That I needed to do it their way.

That there was a right way.

Cos I’d been told it so often by people who supposedly knew more than me that that was the correct way.

They’d all presumed I’d be happy with a cookie cutter business.

They all wanted me to conform, fit into their mould and be like everyone else.

Can you imagine my surprise? And my relief? When I found out they weren’t right?

That moment when I finally realised I could do it my way.

I finally realised that the more individualised I was the better it would be.

That I didn’t have to conform. That was a massive relief for me, I can tell you!

That I could create my life and my business in a way that fits ME.

What about you?

Are you assuming you have to conform and fit their mould?

Are you assuming you have to be the same as everyone else to be successful?

Are you agreeing with your assumption?
