Do you love mornings?
Or, not? What I know is that most people fit one category or the other.
They either love mornings or they don’t.
Me, I’m a morning person through and through. I remember as a child being sent back to bed regularly and told I wasn’t allowed to get up till mum was up. I have absolutely no idea why, but that is what I remember! And I remember feeling frustrated and even grumpy cos here I was rearing to go, champing at the bit, wanting to get into the new day, yet I wasn’t allowed to!
Nowadays, I go the beach EVERY morning. I walk and/or run. I enjoy the solitude to connect and prepare for my day. I return home excited and ready for anything the day will bring.
What I’ve learned is that how we start our day has a profound impact on how our day plays out. Which takes me back to my initial question, do you love mornings?
And following on from that, how do you love to start your day?
Do you rise early and spend some YOU time before the rest of your household wakes?
Or
Do you sleep in enjoying every last minute in bed and then rush round in a panic, frantically attempting to get organised?
Truth is, how you start your day will impact your day.
Your results.
Your feelings.
How you relate to others.
Your performance.
Your everything!!!
Taking YOU time so that YOU get to start your day in a way that prepares you well for your day is paramount to your success in life and in business. Even if you’re a late riser you need to find a way to begin your day that isn’t in panic mode.
As we head swiftly into the holiday season, this becomes even more important.
What could you change in your morning routine so you can begin your day relaxed and prepared for whatever the day brings?
