Are you the leading lady or the best friend?

Are you the leading lady …

or the best friend?

Remember “The Holiday” movie?

Iris, in the movies we have leading ladies and we have the best friend.

You, I can tell, are a leading lady, but for some reason,

you’re behaving like the best friend.”

Arthur Abbott

You’re so right.

You’re supposed to be the leading lady of your own life,

for God’s sake …”  Iris

What would Arthur Abbott say to you?

Would you agree as readily as Iris did?

What changes would you make as a result?

Playing the leading lady role in your own life requires you to take proactive action.

Playing the lead role in your life requires you to make courageous, conscious choices.

Playing the leading lady role in your own life requires you to create beneficial boundaries

To say “NO”.  And then stop.  Remember, NO is a complete sentence.

To say “I’m not available for that.

To say “that’s not my responsibility.”

Conscious choice occurs when you make a purposeful decision to choose rather than unconsciously defaulting to whatever is the easiest or most available option, often that will be whatever is habitual for you.

If you choose not to decide,

you still have made a choice.”

Neil Peart

Making a conscious choice means you are fully aware of each choice you’re making you’re willing to take responsibility for the consequences of that choice, whether they be good or bad.

Choosing consciously means you’re deciding on a course of action deliberately after consideration or by listening to your intuition.

Is it time for you to be the leading lady in your own life?

What stays and what doesn’t?

What will you do and what will you let go of?

An hour with me and we’ll get you clear on making the best use of your time so you are the lead role in your life.
