Just do it!!!
Seriously, just show up and get the work done.
There are times that we all need to tell ourselves that, am I right?
Days when we just don’t feel like it.
When we simply don’t feel like working. When we don’t want to see anyone.
When we just don’t want to write that email. When we’d rather not make that phone call.
And dealing with that staff member or supplier is in the ‘too hard’ basket.
Not to mention communicating with that customer who takes way too much ‘hard work’.
Come on, tell the truth will ya? We all have days or moments like that.
We’re tired. We’re worn out.
We’ve had enough. We want a break.
Maybe we just can’t be bothered today – who knows why, or it could just be ‘that time of the day or month or week or year’.
Anyways, it just is what it is.
And in that moment you have a choice.
Will you?
Or won’t you?
The choice is yours.
Truth is, you’re in business for a reason.
HUH, what? Yep, I hear you saying it.
The fact is that you’ve a reason for being in business rather than doing what you’re doing for a boss.
Really?
I sure hope you’re in business for a reason.
Otherwise you’d quite possibly be better off doing what you do for someone else.
And I sure hope you’re crystal clear about what that reason is.
Why?
OK, sure, here’s why.
It’s cos that reason is what keeps you going.
That reason is what gets you out of bed on the days when you don’t feel like it.
When you’d willingly call in sick if you had a boss to call.
That reason keeps you going when the going gets tough. It’s what makes you be tough and keep on going.
That reason means you continue working when you’d rather not. When you just feel like chilling out. When you desperately need a day off and you can’t take one.
That reason is the fire in your belly that keeps you enthusiastic about your business.
That reason holds your feet to the fire when you’re worn out and want to sleep but you know there’s stuff that needs doing.
Here’s my question to you today – do you know your reason? Your reason why you’re in business?
What’s your crystal clear reason for being in business?
Why are you in business rather than being in a job?
If you’re unsure of your answer then I have two ways you can get help with that.
1. You can email me and we can have a chat about it daphne@daphnewells.com
2. We are covering this in our “Get Clients 60-day Bootcamp”.
Which option suits you best?
My challenge is for you to choose one option and then ‘just do it’.
