Are you tired of doing it all alone?
Of no one else ‘getting’ what you do? What you put up with? All the stuff that happens each day? How each day and week unfold for you? The messy stuff you deal with.
When you’re a woman in business life can be lonely. Really lonely. It’s all up to you.
‘If it has to be, it’s up to me’ syndrome. But it’s real. Truly. I know. How do I know? Cos I’ve been there. I know how it feels.
Honestly, there were many days when if I could have closed the doors and run away I would have. However, there were staff depending on me. Children depending on me. A lease and other business contracts I was committed to. A mortgage to pay. And so on, and so on.
I understand how unhelpful and unsupportive the blank looks, often accompanied by nodding, are when you tell those close to you what it’s like for you.
They just don’t get it. They can’t get it. Their experience is not the same as yours. They work in jobs. They work for a boss.
Their intention is good. They listen, they try to understand to the best of their ability. But because they haven’t experienced it for themselves they just can’t get it.
It’s not their fault. It’s not yours. It just is!
And that’s what makes it feel really, really lonely, super-alone being in business.
I’m currently creating a community and a space where successful women business owners, who are tired of doing it all alone and who yearn for support, are held ‘heart and hand’ so they can be who they want to be while creating the life and results they seek.
