It all started when I stopped playing the blame game.
Then and only then was I able to grow on the inside.
To really grow up.
Once I’d owned and accepted that what was in my life was because of me.
And only me.
That day when I chose to step out of victim mentality to become my own hero.
All my life I’d heard excuses for why people’s lives were less than ideal. I thought that was normal. I didn’t know anything different. I didn’t know there was another way.
When I finally realised I was totally responsible for what was showing up in my life, everything changed.
The predator males showing up in my relationships with their controlling, manipulative, abusive muscles well-honed were a direct result of my feelings of unworthiness. I didn’t believe I was good enough for anyone different.
The lack of abundance was a direct result of my scarcity mindset. That’s how it was in my family. There was never enough of anything. And so it was in my home also.
Everything changed for me.
When I chose to step out of victim mindset and be my hero.
And it all started with me calling time on playing the blame game.
